The people

Owners at the table, not agents on a fee.

Four principals run Cheka Petroleum Universe. Between them they cover capital, operations, and the law, and each one has skin in every decision the group makes.

Bekarys Kuralbekuly Nuradin

Bekarys founded Cheka Petroleum Universe to prove a point he had watched play out for years across the Caspian: in the petroleum trade, reputation is the whole business. The suppliers who last are the ones who deliver exactly what they promise, cargo after cargo. He built Cheka to be that supplier.

He sets the group's direction and leads its largest trades, pairing an appetite for volume with a strict rule that every cargo is backed by real product and clean documents. Colleagues describe his style simply: careful on the paperwork, fast on the deal, and never late on a delivery.

Chief Financial Officer

Dinara Abenova

Dinara runs the money side of every trade. She structures the letters of credit, guarantees, and financing that let cargoes move, getting the instruments right so buyers and sellers both feel safe closing the deal.

She has spent her career where energy meets banking, building trade-finance structures that hold up when commodity prices do not. She treats every deal as if the bank were reading it over her shoulder, because that discipline is what lets Cheka trade at scale without ever surprising a counterparty.

Timur Yeraliyev

Timur owns the cargo from load to discharge. He leads trading operations and logistics, chartering the vessels, booking the terminals, and staying close to the detail that decides whether a shipment lands clean and on time.

His background is in moving physical petroleum, not trading it on a screen, and it shows in the questions he asks: about laytime and demurrage, inspection and customs, the things that never make the headline price but always show up in the delivered cost. Counterparties trust him because he has run the operation himself.

Aliya Nurlanqyzy

Aliya keeps every trade clean and clear. She leads legal, contracts, and compliance across the group, drafting the sale agreements that move product safely between parties and making sure every commitment can be read, understood, and relied upon.

She knows the AIFC's common-law framework inside out and uses it the way it was meant to be used: to give buyers, sellers, and their banks confidence from the first page. Where others see paperwork, she sees the trust that lets a deal close weeks early. No contract leaves the desk without her sign-off, and that is exactly the point.

How we govern

Four people, one standard.

A small team is a feature, not a limitation. Decisions get made by the people who own the outcome, in the room, on the record.

Sourcing, pricing, financing, and every major trade are decided together and documented under the AIFC framework. There is no committee to hide behind and no distant desk to blame. When Cheka commits to a cargo, you know exactly who stands behind that promise, and you can call them by name.

Let's meet

Deals get done between people who trust each other.

If our approach resonates, the next step is a conversation. No intermediaries, no runaround, just a direct line to the people who decide.
